Free to Breathe!

My great friend Danielle Heitman signed up LC4C up for this wonderful event! This is a walk for Lung Cancer and is dear to my heart because daddy had Lung Cancer.

Hi there! Thank you for stopping by Love Caps 4 Cancer's (LC4C) blog.

My name is Carisa and I am the founder of Love Caps, which was inspired by my wonderful, amazing, talented and handsome daddy, Cesar V. Virtucio (pictured above). My daddy fought hard during his battle with cancer and although the turn out was not what he and I expected his legacy lives on through Love Caps' cause. He is the reason!

LC4C is a non-profit project (started in December 2009) that is dedicated to crocheting "love caps" for those who are fighting against cancer, as well as for those who have beaten this sickness. LC4C's goal is to distribute love caps throughout the East Bay (Ca) and beyond California. Our goal is to give comfort and love in the form of a crocheted or knitted cap to those as they bravely take on a difficult journey in their lives. At this time we donate in Oakland, Hayward and Castro Valley Fremont, Mt. View and more. We are currently in the works of expanding outside of the Bay Area/California. We are growing!!!!
